Today marks the beginning of a new limited-time event for Rainbow Six Siege called Assault on Hereford. The event will run from February 6th to 19th, introducing a new scenario mode with quick respawns, operator switching, and combat objectives. Players will find themselves at the ruined Hereford base, where a rebellion has erupted under the leadership of the Recruit.

What is known about the mode?

The events unfold at the revamped Hereford base, which is on the brink of destruction. In the storyline, Thorn and Blackbeard find themselves in the middle of an attack on the Team Rainbow headquarters. They must face off against insurgents capturing the facility.

Assault on Hereford combines several gameplay mechanics into one mode:

• Deathmatch
• Capture points
• Server hacking
• Hostage rescue
• Phase gameplay

The fastest event in Rainbow Six Siege

The main feature of Assault on Hereford is the increased pace of gameplay. Respawns are quicker, and operator changes are instantaneous, making the mode one of the most dynamic in Rainbow Six Siege history. Each match requires new tactics: battles shift from indoors to outdoors, and objectives change on the fly, adding an element of surprise.

New skins and rewards

Ubisoft has introduced new sets for Montagne, Mozzie, Ying, and members of Keres Legion — Sentry and Striker. Players can purchase:
