Siege Cup Returns to Rainbow Six Siege on July 5th

On July 5, players eagerly await the return of the iconic Siege Cup tournament. This is the first opportunity to compete in this competitive mode since the global update Siege X was released in June 2025. The tournament promises to be special, as it will now take place on a day convenient for most — Saturday.

A New Chapter in the History of Siege Cup

Until May 2025, the tournament traditionally took place on Fridays, often posing a challenge for students and working players who dreamed of participating. However, with the release of Siege X, Ubisoft not only made Rainbow Six Siege free for everyone but also moved the main esports events to the weekends. This has been a real gift for the multi-million audience of the shooter.

Despite the game's free-to-play status, only those who have purchased the full version of Siege X will be able to participate in the Siege Cup. Newcomers wishing to test their skills in the tournament will need to upgrade.

Date, Time, and Regions

The tournament will be held on Saturday, July 5. As before, the Siege Cup will be divided into five regions, each with its own time zone and start schedule:

  • North America (NA) — starts at 9:00 PM EST
  • Europe and MENA — 9:00 PM CEST
  • Latin America (LATAM) — 9:00 PM BRT
  • Oceania — 8:00 PM AEDT
  • APAC (Asia and Pacific) — 8:00 PM UTC

The tournament format remains true to tradition: participants compete for Competitive Coins — an in-game currency that can be spent on Competitive Packs with rare and exclusive customization items.

The return of the Siege Cup is a highly anticipated event for many Rainbow Six Siege players, especially considering the changes in format and schedule. The tournament will provide an opportunity to test skills in a competitive environment and earn in-game rewards. Given the community's interest and the innovations following the release of Siege X, the upcoming tournament stage promises to attract a large number of participants from different regions.
