Ubisoft has released an important update for Rainbow Six Siege, which concerns the Dual Front mode, as well as a hotfix of about 200 MB. These changes are aimed at improving the gaming experience and responding to community feedback, including activating the reputation system and adjusting the mode's mechanics.

Activation of the Reputation System

The company has taken into account numerous complaints from players about toxic behavior in Dual Front mode. The data confirmed this problem, so Ubisoft accelerated the implementation of the reputation system. Starting June 25, 2025, your actions in Dual Front will affect your reputation rating. Updated information will appear in the Reputation Center with the next patch, the date of which will be announced later. This decision is intended to promote a positive atmosphere in the game.

Changes to Health in the “Down But Not Out” State

Currently, in Dual Front mode, players who are in the “Down But Not Out” state have 100 health points, which allows them to survive for a long time before being finished off. However, the community has pointed out that this creates excessive difficulty in finishing off opponents. As part of the upcoming Y10S2.2 update, this value will be reduced to 50 points. This adjustment will preserve the ability to revive allies, but will reduce the frustration of protracted battles.

Hotfix June 25

Today's hotfix, which is not a full Y10S2.2 patch, does not include changes to sound effects as expected. The update is approximately 200 MB in size and focuses on fixing several technical glitches. The security of the anti-cheat system has also been improved, which should increase the stability of the game.
