The group stage of the North America League 2025 — Stage 1 has concluded, and now the most intense part of the tournament begins. The playoffs kick off on July 16th — the top six teams in the region will compete for the title and four spots in the Esports World Cup 2025. 

Among the participants are both expected favorites and surprising heroes like Wildcard, who managed to secure the last slot. The playoff format adds even more intrigue — half of the teams start from the quarterfinals, while the group leaders await their opponents in the semifinals.

Wildcard Break Into the Top Six

At the end of the group stage, Shopify Rebellion secured first place, and DarkZero took second. These teams automatically advanced to the semifinals and will await the winners of the quarterfinal matchups.

In the first round of the playoffs, Wildcard will face Spacestation Gaming. The winner of this series will go on to face DarkZero. The second matchup features M80 against Oxygen Esports, with the winner playing against Shopify Rebellion.

Wildcard is the main comeback story of the final part of the group stage. They started the stage with uncertain play but pulled it together in the end, securing important victories and ultimately grabbing the sixth playoff spot. Oxygen and M80 showed consistent form and confidently secured their places in the middle of the table.
