Event Details
The group stage of RE:L0:AD 2025 features a unique "Reload to Survive" format. At the start of the tournament, each team receives 6 "bullets," which determine their standing and risk of elimination. In each match, teams wager a certain number of bullets: if they win, the bullets return to their reserve; if they lose, they are deducted. Furthermore, a team can bet more bullets than they have: if the bet fails, their balance drops below zero, leading to instant disqualification. In the first two rounds, a maximum of 2 bullets can be loaded, and up to 8 in subsequent rounds. All matches are played in a best-of-1 format, with opponents chosen through direct challenges: starting from the lower-ranked teams and moving up.
After the fourth round, the top four teams advance to the playoffs, while the bottom four are eliminated. The remaining teams continue to compete in the fifth round, where four more slots are up for grabs. In case of a tie in bullets, round difference, head-to-head results, win percentage, and, if necessary, a draw will be considered. To add more tactical variety, special cards like Survivor Card, Duel Card, Chicken Card, and others are available to dramatically change the course of events at any moment.
The quarterfinals and semifinals at RE:L0:AD 2025 will be played in a best-of-3 format, while the final will be best-of-5. The tournament winner will receive $170,000.
