Operator Clash from Rainbow Six Siege received a significant update in Y10S2. Now she can deploy her shield on the ground and remotely release energy bursts. These new capabilities offer tactical flexibility but make the gadget vulnerable.

Clash no longer needs to hold a button—the discharge is activated with a single press, and the shield can be placed on the ground fully deployed. However, it is easily destroyed by grenades, vaulting, or can be hacked by Brava, which completely disables the zapper.

The shield is slightly smaller than a standard doorway and doesn't attach to it. It only protects against bullets and is disabled by Thatcher's gadgets. Brava can hack the zapper only from behind by accurately shooting its module. If the shield is raised before the hack is complete, it can be saved; otherwise, the device breaks immediately.

Clash can now move faster: in its folded state, she can run and crouch with the shield in hand. If the shield is deployed, her speed increases to the level of a regular operator with third-level armor.

The zapper's energy shots work indefinitely until the charge runs out. Once the charge is restored to at least 10–20%, the shots resume. The area of effect has become wider, but the accuracy is lower than before.

The shield can no longer be used to hit enemies—only to break regular barricades (excluding Castle and Raouras). It's also impossible to use weapons and gadgets while holding the shield—it must be put away or deployed.

Additionally, Y10S2 introduces elite skins for Clash and Valkyrie (Paragon). Thunderbird's Kona stations now heal enemies if hacked by Brava. Furthermore, in the game interface, the word "opponents" is replaced with "enemies," and "eliminations" with "kills." Clash has become much more versatile, but with so many nuances, she will need to be relearned from scratch.
