On the Chinese platform Bilibili, new details about the GVC Pioneer Series 2025 were revealed on September 23 — the first esports league for Rainbow Six Siege X in China. The tournament immediately caught attention, as its winners will have the opportunity to compete for a chance to participate in the discipline's most prestigious tournament — the Six Invitational 2026.
Interest in the league is immense: for the first time, Chinese players have an official regional path to the largest Siege X stage. For fans, it's a chance to witness the scene's development from scratch, and for teams, it's an opportunity to secure a place among the world's elite.
Competition Format and Dates
The tournament will consist of three stages: Kick-Off, Stage 1 (fall), and Stage 2 (winter). Kick-Off begins on September 28 and will be played in a single round-robin BO1 format. Matches will be held over three game weeks: September 28–29, October 4–5, and October 8–10.

The prize pool for the initial stage is ¥340,000 (about $48,000). The champion will receive ¥120,000 (~$16,872), while the remaining teams will share the rest. But money isn't the only goal: teams will compete for GVC Points, a point system that determines China's final representatives at the Six Invitational.

The total prize pool for the season is ¥1,350,000 (approximately $190,000). Stage 1 will distribute ¥430,000, while Stage 2 will offer the largest pot of ¥580,000. However, GVC Points will be the main indicator: the further the stage, the greater the value of victory. In Kick-Off, the leader will receive 80 points, and in Stage 2, a whole 150.

Participants
Eight Chinese teams will participate in the debut season:
- All Gamers
- Four Angry Men (4AM)
- TYLOO
- WolvesY
- Titan Esports Club
- KingZone
- Attacking Soul Esports
- My Queen
Many of these names are already familiar from other disciplines, and now they will be paving their way on the global Rainbow Six Siege X stage.
The GVC Pioneer Series 2025 is a landmark event for Chinese and global esports. Thanks to the new system, China is receiving a transparent path to the Six Invitational for the first time, and young talents have a chance to make a name for themselves.
