The European team Team Liquid, which competes in the South American region, is making drastic changes to its Rainbow Six roster. After an unsuccessful performance at South America League 2025 - Stage 1, it became known that the organization is parting ways with main roster player Gabriel “AsK” Santos and analyst Lucas “Lenda” Diniz.
Details of the farewell
A message appeared on Team Liquid's official social media accounts tonight. In it, the team's management thanks both participants for the last few months of cooperation and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors and career success.
Today we officially say goodbye to AsK and Lenda. We thank them for their dedication to the team and their work over the past few months, as well as for all their love for the team. We wish them both luck in the future. GL!

The reasons for such a quick farewell are not disclosed, but most likely it is related to the results at events, and especially at the last South America League 2025 - Stage 1, where the team took 5th place, which meant they did not qualify for the Esports World Cup 2025.

The careers of both participants in Team Liquid
Both now former members, player Gabriel “AsK” Santos and analyst Lucas “Lenda” Diniz joined the team in April 2025. But despite the fact that they were supposed to be reinforcements for Liquid, the team did not achieve the desired results. At RE:L0:AD 2025, the team finished 9-16th, and at the second and final event of the South America League 2025 - Stage 1, they finished only 5th. As mentioned above, this result prevented the team from qualifying for the Esports World Cup 2025.

Therefore, both players' careers at Team Liquid lasted only 4 months, and due to the lack of results, they were let go. According to rumors, AsK is expected to return to his former team, Black Dragons, where he played before joining Team Liquid, while the future career of the analyst is still unknown.
