Ubisoft has banned over 1,200 player accounts for using a match cancellation exploit between April 30 and May 6, 2025. Information about the ban wave was published on the game’s official page on social network X.
Some Rainbow Six Siege players discovered an exploit that allowed them to abuse the surrender system to gain an advantage or for fun. Specifically, it involved canceling the opposing team’s vote by killing all their own teammates before the vote concluded. The developers responded to the issue, recorded the violations, and banned over 1,200 players who used this bug during the specified period.
With this decision, Ubisoft emphasized that it will not tolerate bugs or exploits. Stay tuned for R6 and other video game news on our media platform — bo3.gg.
