FAQ
mzinho currently utilizes a mouse sensitivity of 2.5 paired with a DPI of 400, resulting in an effective DPI (eDPI) of 1000. This combination strikes a balance between swift crosshair movement for rapid target acquisition and the precise control needed for accurate shots, which is favored by many professional players for its versatility in both close and long-range engagements.
mzinho’s crosshair is set to a Classic Static style with a very tight gap of -3, minimal length of 2, and zero thickness, without a center dot. The color is a vibrant cyan (RGB 0,255,0) with partial transparency, enhancing visibility on all backgrounds. This compact, unobtrusive configuration allows for maximum precision and clear sightlines, enabling fast and accurate aiming without visual distractions.
The Logitech G Pro X2 SUPERSTRIKE is mzinho’s current mouse of choice. Renowned for its lightweight design and high-performance sensor, this mouse provides low-latency response and consistent tracking, which are crucial for maintaining precision and speed during intense competitive play. Its ergonomic build also supports long hours of gaming without fatigue.
mzinho plays on the ZOWIE XL2586X+, a monitor known for its high refresh rate and DyAc+ technology. He sets his monitor frequency to 360 Hz (as indicated by his launch options), leverages the Premium DyAc setting for motion clarity, sets color vibrance to 12, low blue light to 0, and black equalizer to 10. These settings provide ultra-smooth visuals, heightened enemy visibility, and reduced eye strain, giving him a competitive edge in fast-paced matches.
mzinho opts for a 1280x960 resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio in Fullscreen mode, utilizing stretched scaling. He disables V-Sync and NVIDIA G-Sync, enables high shader, model, and particle details, and sets anti-aliasing to 4x MSAA. Texture filtering is set to Anisotropic 4x, and player contrast boost is enabled. These choices maximize frame rates and visibility, ensuring smooth gameplay and clear distinction of enemies and map elements.
mzinho’s current viewmodel uses a field of view (FOV) of 68, with offsets of 2.5 (x), 0 (y), and -1.5 (z), and preset position 2. Bobbing is disabled. This configuration minimizes weapon movement and keeps the gun model low and out of the way, offering an unobstructed view of the action and allowing for faster target acquisition during firefights.
mzinho uses the Wooting 80HE Black keyboard and the SteelSeries QcK Heavy mousepad. The Wooting 80HE is known for its analog input capability, allowing for precise movement control, while the QcK Heavy provides a large, consistent surface with optimal friction for accurate mouse tracking, both of which are critical for maintaining high performance in competitive matches.
mzinho’s radar is configured with a HUD size of 1 and map zoom of 0.3, with rotation and player centering enabled. He also toggles the radar shape with the scoreboard. These settings ensure that the radar provides a clear and comprehensive overview of the battlefield, aiding in quick decision-making and effective team coordination.
mzinho utilizes a set of launch options including '-noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -noforcemparms -freq 360 -console -novid -tickrate 128 -fps_max 500 +cl_interp_ratio 1'. These commands disable Windows mouse acceleration, set the monitor refresh rate to 360Hz, enable the console, skip the intro video, enforce a 128-tick server, cap in-game FPS at 500, and optimize network interpolation, all contributing to a highly responsive and stable gameplay environment.
Historically, mzinho has alternated between sensitivities of 2 and 2.5, and his eDPI values have ranged from 800 to 1000, with a brief period at 920. This pattern indicates a willingness to fine-tune his settings in pursuit of the ideal balance between speed and control, reflecting a meticulous approach to aiming optimization as he adapts to different hardware, patches, or personal preferences.
