FAQ
MiniBoo uses the Razer Deathadder V3 Pro White mouse set at 800 DPI with an in-game sensitivity of 0.32, resulting in an eDPI of 256. This combination allows for a balanced approach between swift flicks and precise tracking, which is favored by many professional players for consistent aim and control during high-stakes matches.
MiniBoo’s crosshair is designed with a custom code that emphasizes visibility and minimalism, featuring a static, compact design with vivid color choices and fine-tuned thickness and length. This configuration ensures that the crosshair remains unobtrusive yet easy to track, helping him maintain accuracy during intense gunfights without distracting visual elements.
MiniBoo plays on a ZOWIE XL2586X+ monitor, leveraging its high refresh rate and fast response time. His monitor is set to ‘FPS 1’ picture mode, with AMA on Premium, Gamma 3, a contrast of 50, sharpness at 8, brightness at 77, color vibrance at 12, and a black equalizer at 10. These settings are tailored to maximize enemy visibility and clarity, which are crucial for spotting opponents quickly in competitive scenarios.
MiniBoo opts for a low-graphics configuration: he sets resolution to 1600x900 with a 16:9 aspect ratio and fullscreen mode, and disables features like bloom, v-sync, vignette, distortion, and cast shadows. Texture, detail, and material qualities are all set to low, with anti-aliasing at MSAA 2x and anisotropic filtering at 4x. This setup prioritizes high frame rates and clear visuals, reducing distractions and ensuring smooth gameplay.
MiniBoo uses the Logitech G PRO X 2 Headset, available in both black and white versions, and complements this with Shure SE215 Clear earphones. This high-quality audio gear helps him accurately pinpoint enemy locations and subtle game sounds, giving him a competitive edge in reacting to in-game cues swiftly and efficiently.
MiniBoo cycles between the Wooting 80HE (Ghost and Frost editions) and the Logitech G Pro X TKL Keyboard Magenta. The Wooting keyboards, known for their analog input, offer rapid actuation and customizable key response, allowing MiniBoo to fine-tune his keybinds for faster reaction times and greater movement precision in Valorant.
MiniBoo alternates between the Logitech G740 and G840 mousepads, both of which provide a large, consistent surface area with just the right amount of friction. This ensures stable, controlled mouse movements, enabling him to execute precise flicks and tracking without worrying about abrupt stops or inconsistent glide during critical gameplay moments.
Historically, MiniBoo previously used a slightly lower sensitivity of 0.29 and an eDPI of 232 before switching to his current 0.32 sensitivity and 256 eDPI. This gradual increase suggests a preference for slightly faster mouse movement, which can facilitate quicker crosshair placement while still maintaining high accuracy.
MiniBoo customizes his monitor with user-defined color temperature, color vibrance set at 12, and low blue light at zero, ensuring vivid colors without eye strain. By setting experimental sharpening off and enemy highlight color to ‘Purple (Tritanopia)’, he maximizes target distinction and reduces visual fatigue during long practice or tournament sessions.
MiniBoo enables multithreaded rendering and the raw input buffer, ensuring that his system can efficiently handle high frame rates and reduce input lag. With Windows sensitivity set to 6 and scoped sensitivity at 1.05, he achieves a consistent, responsive feel whether aiming normally or while scoped, supporting rapid and accurate reactions in every engagement.
