Recently, on the official Youtube channel of the European organization Team Liquid, a music video titled "Turn the Tide" was released. It features some of the team's players, as well as renowned music artists who participated in the creation of the video.
The lead role in the video is played by Team Liquid member Ayaz Akhmetshin, known as “nAts”, who appears in the first half of the clip. Accompanying this is a melodic performance by Edda Hayes, a well-known singer who, along with 2WEI, created a remix of the song "Warriors" by Imagine Dragons. As a result, their song became the soundtrack for the 2020 League of Legends World Championship. In the second half of the video, Kataem, a renowned musician and actor, introduces an aggressive rap style to the calm musical backdrop.
The events in the video depict a Valorant match but with some alterations. The Team Liquid players, represented by in-game characters, fight against unknown robots across various game maps. At the end of the video, nAts makes eye contact with himself and other team members, signifying Team Liquid's readiness for future challenges.
It's worth noting that the team is looking forward to the Valorant Champions 2023. In their first opening match of Group D, they will face their regional counterparts, NAVI. Perhaps with this video, the team was boosting their motivation or demonstrating unity among the players. Riot Games recently released the official music video for the upcoming championship, so perhaps Team Liquid just wanted to create something similar.
