FAQ
HooXi's current mouse setup features a DPI of 800 combined with an in-game sensitivity of 0.9, resulting in an effective eDPI of 720. This relatively low sensitivity is favored by many professional players as it allows for greater precision and control during high-stakes matches, reducing the likelihood of over-aiming and making micro-adjustments more manageable.
HooXi is currently using the Razer Viper V4 Pro (Unreleased) as his primary mouse. The choice of a cutting-edge, unreleased mouse model suggests a preference for the latest in sensor technology and ergonomic design, which can provide an edge in terms of tracking accuracy and responsiveness—both crucial for top-level competitive play.
HooXi utilizes a classic static crosshair style with a minimal gap of -3, a short length of 1.5, zero thickness, and no center dot, colored bright green. This compact and unobtrusive crosshair maximizes visibility and precision, enabling him to track targets without distraction and maintain focus during intense duels.
HooXi plays at a 1280x768 resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, set to fullscreen and stretched scaling mode. He disables V-Sync and opts for low shader and model texture details, as well as bilinear texture filtering and 4x MSAA anti-aliasing. These settings prioritize high frame rates and low input latency, ensuring smooth gameplay and fast visual feedback, which are vital for competitive success.
HooXi uses the ZOWIE XL2566K monitor, which is renowned for its high refresh rate and esports-focused features. He enables DyAc on Premium, sets color vibrance to 20 for enhanced enemy visibility, and keeps both low blue light and black equalizer at zero, suggesting a focus on clarity and minimal eye strain during long sessions.
HooXi opts for the Wooting 80HE Black keyboard, which is known for its analog input capabilities and rapid actuation. While specific keybinds are not detailed, the choice of this keyboard allows for highly customizable and responsive controls, which can be tailored to personal comfort and fast reaction times in-game.
HooXi configures his radar with a HUD size of 1.165 and a map zoom of 0.35, enabling radar rotation but not centering the player. He also toggles the radar shape with the scoreboard. These settings provide a broader view of the map and teammates' positions, allowing for better situational awareness without cluttering the main screen.
HooXi's launch options include '-novid -no-browser -nojoy -tickrate 128 -high -allow_third_party_software.' These parameters remove startup videos, disable unnecessary browser and joystick support, enforce a high server tickrate, prioritize the game process, and permit third-party software, all of which streamline game performance and reduce potential sources of lag or distraction.
HooXi currently uses the HyperX Cloud II Gun Metal headset, supplemented by Linsoul 7HZ Timeless earphones. The Cloud II is celebrated for its clear directional audio and comfortable fit, which are essential for pinpointing enemy movements and maintaining focus during extended play. The combination of headset and high-fidelity earphones ensures accurate sound reproduction for clutch situations.
HooXi's viewmodel is configured with a field of view of 68, offsets of 2.5 (X), 2 (Y), and -2 (Z), and preset position 4, with viewmodel bobbing disabled. This setup keeps the weapon model unobtrusive, maximizing screen real estate and minimizing visual distractions, which helps him maintain focus on crosshair placement and enemy movement.
