Mareks YEKINDAR Gaļinskis, a player from Team Liquid, annihilated Natus Vincere, finishing the match with a score of 29 to 14!
The showdown between Natus Vincere and Team Liquid took place during the second round of the Legends stage in the latest CS:GO Major - BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.
The teams played a bo1 match on the Inferno map, where Team Liquid defeated their opponent with a score of 16 to 8.
The first half of the match ended with a score of 14 to 1 in favor of Team Liquid. In short, YEKINDAR simply carried his team to victory as he pleased. NAVI couldn't just outshoot the Latvian player.
Furthermore, for understandable reasons, YEKINDAR became the most valuable player of this match. Mareks finished the map with practically the highest rating in the world, namely 9.4!
Following him was only the sniper of Natus Vincere, Oleksandr s1mple Kostyliev, whose rating amounted to a measly 7.8 compared to YEKINDAR's 9.4!
In the second half, the Born to Win (Natus Vincere) tried to make a comeback and even won six rounds in a row but couldn't break through the defense of Team Liquid.
After this match, NAVI's score landed them in the 1-1 bracket, while Team Liquid remained just one step away from the playoff stage!
It's worth noting that it was Team Liquid who lost their two matches on the first day of the BLAST.tv Major Paris: Challengers Stage 2023, and now they have won their first two games in the Legends stage!
The next opponents for both teams are not yet known, as well as the time of their upcoming match. However, all matches will be played tomorrow.
The BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 is taking place from May 8th to May 21st. The teams are competing for a prize pool of $1.25 million.
