YaLLa Esports has announced the list of invited teams for its Compass Spring tournament within the Contenders stage. The tournament, with a prize pool of $25,000, will attract 28 teams competing in two stages for a chance to perform at YaLLa Compass 2024 with a $400,000 prize pool.
Compass Spring offers one spot for participation in the offline event, nine teams will receive direct invitations, and one spot will be given to the winner of the local MENA championship. The Contenders stage starts on January 29th with a Swiss group of 16 teams, eight of which will advance to the main stage, where they will compete with eight other invited teams.

Eight teams will participate in the single-elimination playoffs, initially playing among themselves and then meeting four invited teams in the quarterfinals. The playoff winner will secure a spot at YaLLa Compass 2024. The main offline tournament with a $400,000 prize pool will take place in the UAE from June 5th to 9th, featuring 12 teams, including BIG, the winner of YaLLa Compass Fall 2023, who has already secured a place in the competition.
Among the invited to the Contenders stage are many teams that did not qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen European RMR. These include teams such as BLEED, 9INE, Entropiq, Endpoint, and Passion UA.
