Today, two Ukrainian snipers Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletnyuk from Monte and Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostylev from NAVI took a joint photo and made up after a long-term conflict, and continued to joke about the past conflict on social media.

After the picture itself, s1mple made a post with the phrase:

Almost punched that guy in the face, but it was resolved in time.

To which Woro2k replied:

Fan with meNext game Navi vs Monte = ez Monte

Background to the conflict

The conflict between the players started back in 2022 when they played a showmatch together. In the finals, Maikelele's team defeated Edward's stack, in which s1mple and Woro2k were playing. And between the two teammates, a powerful Twitter altercation started after the match.

Here's what Woro2k wrote after the match:

Zero fan of playing with you after the first map, S1mple. It's a shame to realize that the player you love the most, other than crying and telling someone something, hasn't done anything himself

And after that s1mple already gave a more extended comment:

It's okay, one day you'll realize what team play means in first person shooters and maybe start opening your mouth and giving information so other players can enjoy the game. Time goes by fast, start progressing.He's a very dumb player, makes a lot of dumb mistakes. [...] I got killed 5 times in the side at Mirage just because of those dumb mistakes. Because they don't know how to communicate, they don't know how to talk, they don't know how to cover, they don't know timings, they pretend to know but they don't understand.

And towards the end, Woro2k ended the conflict with his message:

If you look at everything you did in the game, yes. In some situations you are right, but in some I can say the same about you, you played like a bot. You need to focus on yourself first. For the future, if you want to tell someone they are stupid or playing badly, just say it after the game. Take your ego away, because there will come a time when I will destroy you in tournaments. Maybe not the first time, but it will happen.

At the moment, Natus Vincere and Monte have arrived in Cologne for the Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2023 Championship. But in order for us to see s1mple vs Woro2k once again, we need Monte to make it to the Group Stage, where Natus Vincere are already waiting for them.
