Enthusiasts from Reddit tested the MSAA setting for Counter-Strike 2. The result surprised them, as this setting allows you to see enemies more clearly in certain positions.
MSAA, or Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing, in Counter-Strike 2 is a technology designed to reduce the 'staircase' effect (jagged edges) on the edges of objects in the game. MSAA works by rendering parts of the scene at a higher resolution than set in the main game settings, and then reducing this resolution to the configured level, thereby smoothing the edges.
In CS2, as in other games, using MSAA can significantly improve visual quality, making the image smoother and more pleasing to the eye.
However, it can also affect performance, especially on computers with weaker graphics cards, as it requires more resources for rendering. With MSAA 8x enabled, it can consume up to 40% FPS, but obviously, these are approximate figures, and everything depends on your PC configuration.
For a visual example, let's compare the image with MSAA turned off and MSAA 2x:

Moreover, with each subsequent increase in MSAA, the image will become even clearer.
