"We had it in our own hands, obviously, we fucked up in the end, for sure" - RobbaN on defeat in ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 final

Former FaZe coach, RobbaN shared the situation in the team after a disappointing loss in ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018, the signing of NiKo and about his future.

RobbaN joined the team in 2016 where he could win over 10 trophies and earn $131,448 in prize money during his time with the team.

NiKo joined the team in 2017 and getting him was difficult as said. RobbaN, the team was trained by ScreaM but when the opportunity to get NiKo came up they took it. In one year with NiKo, the team managed to win at ESL One: New York 2017 and ELEAGUE Premier 2017.

After the disappointing defeat in the Cloud9 final, RobbaN hasn't revisited that game, it was the first game he didn't revisit. In his opinion FaZe seemed like the perfect team to him at the time. But how they lost in the final destroyed the whole spirit within the team. It was really hard, he still feels lame when he sees something that reminds him of that.

Boston had everything in our hands, obviously we messed up in the end. It was a valuable lesson for karrigan and the team. Finals losses like that are hard to fix, but we learned and improved from the experience.

In September 2020, RobbaN received a 5.5-month ban from all ESIC events beginning September 28, 2020, for using the coaching bug. Additionally, in January 2021, RobbaN received a two Major ban from Valve for using the same bug all over again.

Despite this, the team managed to win the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 without him, but on July 14, 2023, he suddenly left the coaching position, which was unexpected for everyone. And is now on the team as the main overseer of the CS roster.

I think I could become a coach again under favorable circumstances. But not right now. In the future, who knows? Coaching is a lot of fun, you're still involved even if you're not playing. I definitely wouldn't turn down an opportunity like that in the future
he said

At the moment RobbaN's ban is over and he can participate in all tournaments, but there is no possibility to return to coach in FaZe, because now there is NEO, who shows a good result of work. But he can join any team and strengthen it.
