Vitality dismantled The MongolZ with a 2:0 victory, while Spirit overcame MOUZ 2:1 in a tightly contested series. Both teams demonstrated strong teamwork and secured direct spots in the semifinals of the  IEM Cologne 2025

MOUZ vs. Spirit

Spirit gave MOUZ no room to breathe in the upper bracket final. On Ancient — one of Spirit’s strongest maps — they looked solid, finishing the first half 7:5. Despite dropping a few key rounds in the second half, they held on in overtime to win 16:13.

On the second map, Mirage, the first half once again ended 7:5 in Spirit's favor, but MOUZ came back strong, forcing overtime and eventually leveling the series. The decider map saw Spirit retake control, dominating the final map with a confident 13:6 win to close out the series 2:1.

Danil 'donk' Kryshkovets was named the best player of the match, finishing the series with 76 kills, 65 deaths, and an ADR of 98.

Vitality vs. The MongolZ

Vitality earned a confident and straightforward 2:0 win over The MongolZ. On Mirage, picked by the Mongolian squad, Vitality completely dominated and closed it out 13:5. On Inferno, Vitality showed composure on both offense and defense, sealing the match 13:8.

Mathieu 'ZywOo' Herbaut was the top performer, ending the series with 43 kills, 22 deaths, and 110 ADR.

All four teams have already qualified for the playoffs. Spirit and Vitality will begin in the semifinals, while MOUZ and The MongolZ will start in the quarterfinals. Their opponents will be determined later today, July 29.
