Vitality reached the semifinals for the first time in six Majors

Vitality showed the best result at a major in the club's history: the organization guaranteed to have at least 3-4 place at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

Yesterday, the French-Danish team beat Into The Breach in the quarterfinals - at the previous majors, if Vitality made it to the playoffs, they lost in the first match. Now the situation is entirely different, and at the home major, the club is considered the favorite, playing at the appropriate level.

The current Vitality roster's firepower and teamwork level should allow the team to reach the grand final at least. Heroic, also considered the tournament's favorite, will most likely be in it.

The results of the Vitality team in CS:GO majors:

  • IEM Katowice 2019 (9-11 place)
  • Starladder Major Berlin 2019 (5th-8th place)
  • PGL Major Stockholm 2021 (5th-8th place)
  • PGL Major Antwerp 2022 (9th-11th place)
  • IEM Rio Major (12-14 place)

The BLAST.tv Paris Major is essential for Vitality because of the venue and because it will be essential for ZywOo to win the title. It will be a shame if one of the best players in the history of Global Offensive cannot take first place in the most crucial competition before the transition to CS2, which NiKo and GuardiaN failed to do.

We remind you that Vitality will play against the winner of the Liquid/Apeks pair on May 20 at 8:00 PM in the semi-finals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 takes place from May 8 to 21 in France. Accor Arena will host the Champions stage (playoffs) from May 18 to 21. Teams are vying for a prize pool of $1.25 million. The champion will also receive tickets to IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. You can follow the schedule and results of the major here.
