Virtus.pro announced the promotion of 17-year-old Vadim “tO0RO” Arkov from the VP.Prodigy roster to the main team. The young player will take on the role of anchor, replacing Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, who recently left the starting lineup.
The decision came shortly after Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy was appointed as the new captain. The club explained that they had been testing candidates from the academy in recent weeks, and it was tO0RO who made the biggest impression:
tO0RO comes from the VP.Prodigy roster, which surprised many in 2025 with their results: the team defeated Liquid and FUT at the RES Showdown Fall 2025 and won back-to-back online tournaments — ESEA League Season 54 Europe Elite Cup 1 and Myskill Pro League Season 2 Finals.
In the past six months, tO0RO has demonstrated statistics higher than those of electroNic. However, all these figures were achieved in tier-3/4 tournaments, whereas in Virtus.pro, he will have to prove his effectiveness on the tier-1 stage, where the level of opponents and pressure will be incomparably higher.
