In their social media, Virtus.pro announced that Dastan “dastan” Akbaev has been relieved of his coaching duties. At the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 tournament, analyst Pavel “PASHANOJ” Legostaev will take over the coaching duties.
Dastan was Virtus.pro's coach since 2019, and during that time the team won Roobet Cup 2023 earning $150,000 and Flashpoint Season 2 earning $500,000. The reasons for his dismissal are not yet specified, it may have to do with his departure from IEM Dallas 2024 where VP won Heroic and afterwards lost to FaZe and BIG with a 1-2 score.

Virtus.Pro will face a tough test at BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, where the team will have to play under a coaching change. Interim coach PASHANOJ, who previously served as an analyst, is familiar with the team and its strategies. However, adapting to a new coaching style could prove to be a challenge for the players.
The BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 tournament will take place June 12-16, where 8 teams will battle it out for a $425,000 prize pool and a slot at the BLAST World Final, and it will also be the last tournament before the teams rest and before the Esports World Cup in July.
