Extinct will replace Rory cryths Ursell, who is a stand-in in Viperio. He was the stand-in who helped the team pass to the European RMR. But first, let us remind you that Viperio finished the closed qualification with a 3-2 record.
Who is Extinct?
Extinct is a 23-year-old player from Ireland who started his career in 2020 and played mainly in British mixes. In addition to them, he managed to play in the British organization Coalesce. However, he stayed in it for less than a year. For the most part, the player performed on the tier-3 stage but is okay considering the general level of the British scene at the moment.
Speaking of his performance, Extinct recently played for the Dripmen mix, who could not pass open qualifications at RMR. His average rating is 5.8.
Why did Viperio decide to change the lineup?
The question immediately arises: why change the roster if the team has gone so far? After all, the stand-in, whom the team removed, really helped Viperio pass the closed qualification. But it seems that cryths had the status of a stand-in for a reason, and the team was looking for another player.
In a direct comparison of cryths and Extinct (when sorting by all types of events), the second player does not look much better. However, this does not mean that Viperio made a mistake. Most likely, cryths was initially a temporary player while the team tested other options. This signature may greatly improve Viperio's game.
When will Viperio play?
Viperio will take part in CCT North Europe Season 4 2023. Their first match will be held on March 2 against GODSENT. All information about the tournament is available here.
