Valve has updated the ranking of Counter-Strike teams, which determines which team will receive an invitation to the RMR closed qualifiers. This update has generated a lot of interest among players and fans, as the ranking determines who will get a chance to compete for a spot at the big tournaments.
This update is one of the last updates before the invitations are issued, which are only 6 days away. On August 7, it should be known who gets to the closed qualifications, or it will fly by.

Valve's rankings are a key tool for determining the best teams in Counter-Strike. Teams ranked in the top 48 in their region receive invitations to the RMR Closed Qualifiers, which are the first step to competing in major tournaments.

It's also a fun fact that Liquid is in the European and American rankings at the same time, taking 15th and 16th position in the world rankings. The position of 3DMAX, which after winning the Skyesports Championship 2024 has risen 14 positions to 21st place.
In the updated Valve ranking, the positions of Ukrainian teams in the European region are as follows:
- NAVI - 5th place
- B8 - 27th place
- Monte - 31st place
- Passion UA - 35th place
- FAVBET - 76th place
- kONO - 82nd place
NAVI, B8, Monte and Passion UA managed to get into the top-48, which should allow them to get invitations to the RMR closed qualifiers. This is an important step for Ukrainian teams, because participation in RMR opens the way to international tournaments, namely Major.

Interestingly, Monte is ranked two positions in the rankings, 31st, and 39th, because for some reason Valve still takes into account the lineup with Gizmy, Ryu, and Woro2k no longer on the team. The same situation with Cloud9's past roster, which is now at position 45 in the worldwide rankings, but it is missing three new players, HeavyGod, ICY and Interz.
The updated Valve rankings once again confirmed the strong position of Ukrainian teams in the European region. The teams that made it to the top-48 will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills at the closed qualifiers for RMR.
