ENCE’s player Guy Nertz Iluz talked about the discussions regarding his autograph from the BLAST Paris Major 2023 capsule released tonight.

The fact is that the Twitter account posted an image with a sticker-signature Nertz and did not come up with anything better than simply writing "Z" in the post, which some users saw as a symbol of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

I saw many people talking about the letter “Z.” Guys, I'm 100% sure that BLAST didn't want to mention something related to the war. THERE IS NO POLITICS BEHIND THIS - it's just my childhood and nothing more.

What did Nertz mean by childhood? The fact is that the last letter in his autograph is a direct reference to the logo of the popular anime Dragon Ball Z, which is particularly popular in Ukraine and the Russian Federation, unlike many other countries, including the USA and South American countries.

It is impossible to blame an athlete for a pro-military position. On the other hand, the responsible SMM member of BLAST could have shown a little more creativity and signed his post a little differently, thereby avoiding any ambiguities.
