In his recent interview, Canadian rifler of FaZe Clan, Russell "Twistzz" Van Dalken, commented on the readiness of CS2 to enter the professional scene.

Twistzz:

CS2 is still not ready to be played at the pro level. Many aspects of the game seem unstable. My overall feeling is that many elements are unstable, from movement to spray; it all feels very clumsy. The advantage of peeking seems to be an issue regardless of ping, and I've encountered situations where a player hides well in the smoke, but I still get spotted.
The initial smoke color in some areas is also unclear; I suppose it can be easily checked with an insta-smoke into the Mirage window.
Talking about the game is the fastest way to improve it, so we should remain optimistic.

Reminder that in just two weeks, the Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023 will kick off, which is expected to be the first tournament on CS2! It is scheduled to start on October 16, 2023, and the championship's prize pool will amount to $250,000.

Also, it's worth noting that the game still lacks a coach slot, and it's still unclear how coaches train their teams. Additionally, the cl_righthand command is unavailable, which allowed players to switch their weapon to the left hand.
