Astralis Talent has announced significant changes in their lineup, bringing in 20-year-old Alexander "tOPZ" Miklagard to replace Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen, who was recently sold to Espionage. tOPZ, who previously played for Preasy and was benched at the beginning of the month, is now joining Astralis Talent.
Jan Jorgensen, head of performance at Astralis, noted that bringing in tOPZ is a timely move in response to Espionage's interest in MistR. Alexander is recognized as a player who fits perfectly into the team's strategy and approach, aiming to combine young talents with experienced players.
The player himself expressed enthusiasm and readiness to develop within the new organization. tOPZ emphasized his desire to gain experience and grow as a player, noting that being a part of Astralis will give him such an opportunity.
The free transfer of tOPZ, facilitated by an agreement with Preasy, opens new prospects for Astralis Talent. With him on the team, they are preparing for upcoming competitions, particularly for the LAN finals of Dust2.dk Ligaen Season 24.
