Björn "THREAT" Pers, former coach of Ninjas in Pyjamas, has returned to the Swedish organization as General Manager.
This is the fourth position in NIP for the 35-year-old Swede. Prior to that, THREAT was the team's head coach from 2016 to 2018. Then, for several months from 2019 to early 2020, he assisted Faruk "pita" Pita as an assistant coach. After that, Bjorn returned to the head coaching position for almost two years until he moved to an organizational position, where he worked until the end of 2022.
Under THREAT's guidance as a coach, NIP managed to win DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016, DreamHack Open Valencia 2017, IEM Oakland 2017, and IEM Fall 2021.
Currently, Daniel "djL" Narancic is working as the team's head coach, and he will replace THREAT in early 2022.
