Today, the Mongolian organization TheMongolz asked for help from Valve on Twitter because their player received a VAC ban by mistake. The situation is heating up as the team has an official match scheduled for tomorrow.
TheMongolz player Sodbayar Techno4K Munkhbold received a VAC ban on his main account. At the time of writing the news, he had played 7,999 hours on his account in Counter-Strike 2.
Furthermore, the value of his inventory is approximately $2,000. However, suspecting him of unfair play is unwarranted, as he has already participated in ESL LAN championships, indicating that this VAC ban was issued in error.
Throughout December 5th, VAC has been banning players without reason. Many have lost inventories worth tens of thousands of dollars. Apparently, with the new update, Valve has somewhat broken VAC, and now it is banning random players without any cause. Over two thousand accounts have already been caught in the wave of bans.
TheMongolz:
Our player Techno4K received a VAC ban without reason, possibly due to the new anti-cheat system. We have an official tournament match tomorrow, and we urgently need help with this issue.
Tomorrow at 14:00 Kyiv time, the team will play against FyR at ESL Challenger League Season 46 Asia-Pacific in a survival match.
