Ukrainian content maker and analyst Oleksandr “Petr1k” Petryk shared his impressions after trying the recently launched matchmaking in CS2 on FACEIT servers.

According to the expert, matches on the platform are superior to the Premier mode, but at this stage, there are FPS issues during shootouts.

The enemy selection on FACEIT is significantly better, you play against equal opponents and it is HARD. There is not a single easy game, no constant randomness, because everyone's ELO has been perfectly calibrated for a long time.I felt that I want more FPS, I want not to have drops during shootouts, because they happen more often than in MM in full blind or in smokes, or in hashes, and the opponents not only shoot better but also move better.

Petr1k concluded that after the full release of CS2, high-level players will prefer playing on FACEIT, as it was with CS:GO.

Let's note that now access to the game on FACEIT servers in CS2 is only available to owners of 9th and 10th level accounts with more than 1000 matches on the platform. Access will be expanded over time.
