Yesterday it was announced that The MongolZ withdrew from BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 for unknown reasons. However, today the organization explained the reason for their withdrawal on social media, which was to care for the health and well-being of their players. 

Sensational 2024 for The Mongolz

In 2024, The MongolZ demonstrated simply incredible results, being at the top of the world's best teams. The team managed to secure victories in 3 strong tier-2 tournaments and also compete at tier-1 tournaments against the top teams in the world.

Burnout Issue

The burnout issue is very common in esports, with NAVI in 2024 being an example. They participated in all tournaments and showed poor results by the end of the year. Therefore, taking a break from tournaments may play an important role for The MongolZ, as it did for Team Spirit.

Next Tournament

The next tournament for The MongolZ will be IEM Katowice 2025, which will take place from January 29 to February 9, 2025. The prize pool for the tournament will be $1,000,000. More details about the tournament can be followed here.
