In her latest interview, renowned designer from Valve, Lydia "PHRISK" Zanotti, revealed that she has decided to leave the company of her own volition. Previously, she worked on redesigning the maps Overpass and Inferno for Counter-Strike 2.
She is the creator of all the greenery on Overpass. Additionally, she contributed to the creation of Nuke, Mirage, Ancient, and Anubis.
PHRISK decided to leave on her own terms. "It's time for a change," she explained in the interview. Upon leaving, she tweeted that she is very proud of her team and always dreamed of working on CS.
"I enjoyed my time at Valve and am glad to have worked on one of my dream projects. In a few weeks, I'll start a new job and embark on a new journey."
Despite leaving Valve, she continues to work on a new map "de_dharma". Currently, the map looks like this:
It seems that the map was originally created for CS:GO and now she will simply transfer it to Source 2 in Counter-Strike 2, which is expected to take some time. Since Valve has already opened access to the workshop, we can soon expect another masterpiece from PHRISK.
