The annual The Game Awards ceremony recognizes not only the best single-player and esports games but also the teams that have shown the strongest results on the professional scene in their respective disciplines. This year, the title of best esports team was awarded to Team Vitality in CS2.

Alongside Vitality, the list of nominees included several other well-known teams from different esports titles:

• Gen.G (League of Legends)
• NRG (Valorant)
• Team Falcons (Dota 2)
• Team Liquid  PH (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang)

The French team earned this title for a reason, as Vitality had an exceptional year in CS2. During the 2025 season, the roster secured numerous major victories, including Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2025, BLAST Open Spring 2025, ESL Grand Slam Season 5, BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, and many others.

Additionally, Vitality is currently performing strongly at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, where they have already advanced to the upper-bracket semifinals and remain one of the main contenders for the tournament title. Therefore, in just a few days, the French team’s 2025 trophy collection may grow even further.
