Team Spirit completed the transfer of sh1ro — it cost the club more than $1 million

The esports club Team Spirit announced changes in the CS2 roster. The announcement took place on the organization's social networks.

Dmitry sh1ro Sokolov joined Spirit. In the main roster, he replaced Artem ArtFr0st Kharitonov, who also played as a sniper.

Transfer amount

Officially, the transfer amount of sh1ro from Cloud9 was not disclosed. However, Spirit insider and analyst Alexey OverDrive Biryukov reported that the transition cost the club more than $1 million.

The transfer cost is just over $1 million. It is worth noting that a price around $1 million is now common for transferring players from the top 10.

At the end of October 2023, sh1ro went inactive, leaving the C9 starting lineup. In a comment about his departure, Sokolov noted that "it was one of the hardest decisions" in his career.
