Today Serbian organization Team Spirit defeated American Complexity Gaming in the semifinals of Group A at IEM Katowice 2024. Thus, the team made it to the final of Group A, and also secured a place in the playoffs of the championship.
The match was played in BO3 format, but Team Spirit managed to win the match early in two maps. Now it's time to take a little closer look at this matchup.
Team Spirit defeated their opponents 2-0 (Ancient 13:3, Overpass 13:5) on maps. MVP of the match as in many others was taken by a young Team Spirit riffler Danil donk Kryshkovets. In fact, the average rating of the player for two maps was 8.2!
But what's next? Team Spirit advanced to the final of Group A, where they will play against the winner of FaZe Clan/Eternal Fire on February 6. The upper grid at the moment looks as follows:

IEM Katowice 2024 takes place February 3-11 in Poland, attracting the world's best teams to compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool. The winner of the tournament will not only receive $400,000, but also slots to IEM Cologne 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024.
