Following a scandal that caused widespread outrage, Team 7AM announced the cessation of its activities. The situation worsened at the end of January when a private conversation among the organization's founders on Discord containing homophobic remarks was leaked online. This incident sparked a wave of discontent and prompted some employees to leave the organization.
In addition to reputational losses, Team 7AM also faced financial problems. One of the players, Victor "Duplicate" Mitev, stated that the team owed him and his colleagues their January salaries. He expressed his concerns on social media, emphasizing that the organization was using its "closure" as a reason not to pay the owed money.
7AM is now shut down because of a leaked DM that came out on the 31st Jan. We represented the org the whole Jan and they legally owe us salaries that they don't want to pay because of the "shut down". Sucks because thats not the first time I got scammed

Duplicate, who joined the team in November, highlighted that this was not the first time he encountered such dishonesty in esports, pointing out the general issue of salary non-payment in the industry.
