The 37-year-old Pole had been inactive since March this year, when he played for HONORIS, also being a founder of the now-defunct organization.
It's worth noting that TaZ had no previous coaching experience – G2 will be his first team where he will assume such a role. Unlike Viktor, his teammates from the championship-winning Virtus.pro lineup became coaches in tier-1 organizations, having had experience in similar positions in less famous teams.
The next tournament featuring G2 will start very soon – on December 13th, the team will play against MOUZ in the group stage of BLAST Premier: World Final 2023. In the previous event, CCT Online Finals 5, which was the first after nexa's arrival, the team finished in 5-6th place, losing to Guild.
