steel returns to CS2: Bug Fixes and New Goals

The legendary CS:GO player, who became infamously known for a match-fixing scandal, Joshua steel Nissan, has announced his return to esports.

steel, who served a 5-year ban from Valve, stated that his main goal is not just to return to the game, but to repair his reputation and leave behind a positive legacy. He wants to be remembered not for the match-fixing incident but for his talent and achievements.

Regarding the lifting of the ban:

At the end of the Valorant season, I had nothing to do, so I downloaded CS. Out of boredom, I decided to play some ESEA Cashcup or FPL, and I liked it. When CS2 came out, I asked Valve about my ban out of curiosity, and they said, "Okay, you'll be unbanned on this date." I don't think I'm special; people just need to write to them.

On returning to the game:

I wouldn't want to be involved in a project with a team that can't be good enough. I want to play with the best, but will people believe in a 35-year-old me? And can I lead them to a major? For now, these are just questions.

Upcoming plans:

I can now play in open qualifiers, but it's all for content. I don't expect to win, but it's great to outplay Wildcard and M80. Coaching? I don't know, it's stressful and the pay is low. For now, I want to work as an analyst at tournaments, and then I'll see.

steel realizes that the path to correcting mistakes will be challenging, but he is determined.

Will he be able to succeed? Only time will tell.
