Valve has banned 50 trader accounts with a total value of over $4,000,000

Today it became known that more than 50 of the world's wealthiest traders have been affected by a new wave of bans from Valve. The total amount frozen by Valve on their platform exceeds $4,000,000.

Most likely, they were laundering money through the official sponsor G2, involving over $12,000,000 in cryptocurrency laundering. And now, this ban cannot be lifted. According to Valve, even their support won't be able to help them. However, rumors circulate online that this ban, known as "Community Banned" or simply "Red Flag," has been lifted for no more than 10 users who have ever faced this issue.

What have the traders lost?

Nevertheless, hope for an unbanning remains, but it is highly unlikely. Let's take a look at the most beautiful and expensive skins that the traders have lost.

Let's start with a French trader known as TnK, whose inventory was valued at $400,000. The most expensive item he lost is estimated at $17,000, namely the Butterfly Knife | Gamma Doppler (Factory New) - Emerald.

Next, let's take an American trader named Guts. The value of his inventory already amounts to $350,000. And the most expensive item is the AWP | Gungnir (Factory New), priced at $12,000!

And the list goes on. But the fact remains that the money cannot be recovered, and Valve has become even wealthier. Is such a ban legal? Yes, it all lies in the terms of service that every new Steam user agrees to. More often than not, people simply check the box without reading this important material.

So far, G2 and their new sponsor have not reacted to this. After all, it may not even be them. But Valve won't say anything, just like they did in 2017 when they banned accounts worth $5,000,000!
