With the BLAST.tv Austin Major approaching, which will be held in Texas, where the organization is based, stanislaw is optimistic and aims to reach the playoffs. The beginning of the year and Wildcard's key failures

Stanislaw spoke in detail about how the team spent 2025, emphasizing that the beginning was promising, but subsequent failures became a serious test for Wildcard. The victory in the Frost & Fire online tournament gave the team confidence, but at major LAN events in Katowice and Bucharest, they were unable to realize their potential, losing at crucial moments.

Adapting to the European scene

Since the modern CS scene is mainly concentrated in Europe, Wildcard spent a significant part of the year abroad, based in Poland, where their headquarters are located. Stanislaw explained how the team adapted to this schedule in order to get better practice against European opponents, although this comes with certain difficulties.

The role of veterans in the NA scene

As one of the most experienced players on the NA scene, stanislaw sees his role as passing on his knowledge to the younger generation, but notes that modern players have their own peculiarities in perceiving information. He compared the approaches to training in his day and now, when playbooks and theory play a much greater role.

It's very important for people in our position to be able to pass down our knowledge and experience, but also, one thing that I've realized which has been difficult is finding players, especially in NA, that are eager and humble enough to learn

The development of young talent JBa

One of Wildcard's promising players is JBa, who is performing well online, but his performance in LAN tournaments is still falling short. Stanislaw gave a positive assessment of the young talent's development, but stressed that stability requires time and team cohesion.

Cooperation with Stewie2k and its impact

The short period of cooperation with Stewie2k was a real test for Wildcard. Stanislaw admitted that this experience had a negative impact on the team, forcing them to start all over again after an unsuccessful experiment.

Oh yeah, that was a nightmare. It definitely did put a bump in the road, though, we had to start over

I'm feeling good, susp's twin brother is on the team, so we're going to take them down for him.
