SPUNJ shared his speculations about the release of CS2

Renowned commentator and former esports player, Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, shared his thoughts on the upcoming CS2 release for all gamers on social media.

SPUNJ noted that, despite widespread anticipation, the open beta testing might still be limited. In his post, he wrote:

Come 27th of September, we might see the open beta testing of CS2, but these are just my speculations and aren't based on any official info. I think access to the beta might be restricted to players who already own CS:GO. New features are anticipated, like the ability to open cases and the introduction of other game modes. Significant changes and improvements are likely in areas such as net code, movement, and sound.

In recent months, Valve has been actively releasing patches for CS2, addressing various issues, and initiated beta testing for an even larger pool of players. According to some data, the release of Counter-Strike 2 was scheduled for the end of September.

Earlier, Valve hinted at September 27, 2023, as the possible release date for Counter-Strike 2.
