The second semifinal of IEM Katowice 2025 is over, where Spirit secured a confident victory over Virtus.Pro with a score of 2:0. The match was relatively expected until VP announced the substitution of FL4MUS with mir. Therefore, the result was not shocking to anyone.

The first map was Train, where Spirit had no problems at all. The first half ended with a score of 10:2 in favor of the Dragons. In the second, Spirit easily won three rounds in a row and secured a 13:2 win, leaving the impression that VP did not get into the map.

The second was Ancient, where VP looked better and managed to win 5 rounds in the first half, but it wasn't enough to win it. In the second half, VP tried to show themselves again but managed to win only 4 rounds and lost the map 13:9, exiting the tournament.

In the semifinals, Spirit will play against NAVI for a place in the grand final of IEM Katowice 2025. Meanwhile, Virtus.Pro exits the tournament in 5th-6th place, earning $61,000 for it. For VP, the playoff stage was unfortunate, one of the reasons being the substitution, but if FL4MUS had been there, their performance could have been better.
