South African team Bravado signed new sniper to their CS2 roster

South African team Bravado, which is now in Europe, has made a change in its lineup, signing a new European sniper Timothy"tvs" Sjöberg. This is the second time when the team gets a European sniper, before that Valentin "poizon" Vasilev played the role of a sniper.

Background

At the beginning of April this year Bravado decided to relocate their CS2 lineup to Europe. The lineup is located in Belgrade, Serbia, where it will stay until mid 2026. The main goal of the roster during this time will be to get to the Major and rise in the Valve rankings, which will now give invitations to tournaments.

Bravado was previously captained by current Complexity captain, Johnny "JT" Theodosiou, but left the team in 2019. The last tournament for the team was PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Middle East RMR Closed Qualifier, where they finished in 5th-6th place and did not qualify for the tournament. After that, the decision was made to relocate.

Reason for substitution

Valentin "poizon" Vasilev joined the team as a replacement for the upcoming tournaments, but after failing to qualify for Major he left the team and joined TSM. After that the team was without a sniper for six months and only now announced about his signing.

The new sniper is Swede tvs, who once played for Kappa Bar and The Prodigies SE. For the twenty-two year old, this will be the 7th team of his career where he has managed to earn $7,355 in all time.

Due to inactivity for half a year now the team is missing from Valve's rankings and has no chance of making it to the Major this year. But it will most likely be preparing for the next one, which will be held a year from now in Austin.

Conclusion

There's no information about future games and tournaments yet, but most likely they'll be competing in various Dash 3 tournaments now to gain not only experience, but confidence, which will help them in the future. This is basically what they came to Europe for.
