The first matches at BLAST Paris Major 2023 recap: no sensations so far

We have been waiting for a long time, and now that day has come. The last major in CS:GO: BLAST Paris Major 2023 is already in full swing! The first two matches have already been played. Let's summarize the results.

Monte vs. FaZe Clan

The tournament's opening match was between the Ukrainian team Monte and FaZe. The match took place in bo1 format on the Ancient map.

The game turned out to be very difficult and unpredictable, the teams were sweating until the last round, but due to clutches, luck, and bad luck, the FaZe team won with a score of 16:14!

The MVP of the match deservedly goes to Howard rain Nygaard, who sometimes managed to destroy Monte single-handedly. Rain finished the match with a rating of 7.2.

Pain Gaming vs. Fluxo

There was no sensation. Pickems are safe. Fluxo goes to 0:1.

And seriously, it was a very easy game for Pain. The match was also held in the bo1 format on the Mirage map. Where Fluxo could only chew the sand dust from under the sneakers of the Brazilians from Pain. Pain closed the map with a score of 16:2!

What is the next opponent of these teams?

Round 2 of the BLAST Paris Major 2023 group stage will start today after 4:00 PM.

The time is unknown, but we already know that Monte will meet Fluxo in the next match and will fight with a score of 1:1.

But FaZe will meet today against Pain and will fight for 2:0.

Let us remind you that the major takes place from May 8 to 21, 2023! Teams are raffling off a $1.2 million prize.
