In his latest interview, the captain of Gamer Legion team, Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, talked about his plans for the new team and shared what he was up to during his short break.
First, Snax explained how he could have made a comeback in 2022 but wanted to gain experience as a captain at the Tier-3 level:
In 2020, I turned down offers from a top-10 team in the world. They wanted me in the IGL role, but I wasn't ready, so I declined the offer.I enjoy being a captain. I like to communicate a lot in the game. Even before Virtus.pro, when I was at the peak of my career, I was mostly the IGL in my teams.
It would be great if I could achieve something bigger again, win a few tournaments 10 years after my first victories. I know I need time, I need to practice a lot, especially because of the new game.
He then talked about his plans in the new team:
I hope I can develop the guys with my experience. I hope I'll also learn something from them. I think there's potential, but you need to work with it. People here communicate more. It's a big change compared to tier-2, and I like it, but we need to improve team communication.
Just a reminder, on September 29, 2023, the legend of Polish CS, Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski, joined GamerLegion as the captain.
