Team Liquid has officially announced that Polish captain Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek joins the squad on loan from German club MOUZ. The contract is valid until the end of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, which will take place in June 2025. Thus, siuhy will replace Justin “jks” Savage, who was sent to the bench, and will also take on the role of game leader, which previously belonged to Russell “Twistzz” van Dalken.

Reasons for the changes

This transition was the result of a series of not very successful performances by Liquid. In 2025, the team managed to reach the playoffs only once at the ESL Pro League Season 21, but even there, it failed to achieve significant success. Other appearances were also unsuccessful: Liquid failed to achieve serious results at IEM Katowice 2025, BLAST Open Spring 2025, and at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, the team managed to reach the quarterfinals, which was the best achievement of this squad.

Despite this, Liquid is still the No. 1 team in the American rankings, which allows them to receive a direct invitation to the third stage of the Austin Major.

What will Siuhy bring to the Liquid team?

Siuhy, who is only 22 years old, has already become one of the brightest captains in CS2. He has been playing professionally since 2018 and has been the leader of MOUZ since July 2023. Under his leadership, the German team won the ESL Pro League Season 18 and 19, as well as BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024. In addition, he twice led the team to high places in the majors: the quarterfinals of PGL Copenhagen 2024 and the top 4 at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

In total, siuhy has earned almost $400,000 in his career, which demonstrates his high competitiveness and stability in international competitions.

New Team Liquid roster and debut at PGL Bucharest 2025

The updated Liquid roster will make its debut at PGL Bucharest 2025, which will take place from April 6 to 13. The new team's first match will be against Legacy, where viewers will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the changes for the first time.
