The first day of closed qualifiers for the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 Europe Closed Qualifier started today, with SAW, GamerLegion, Sashi and GUN5 winning the first round. This advanced them to the semifinals where they played against each other.
The losing teams fell to the lower grid where they also play one against the other, but this time the loser leaves the qualification.
Match Details
The matches were played in BO3 format at the same time, the sensational result was the defeat of NIP against GUN5, who are not a top team. The match could have ended even 2-0 in favor of GUN5, but NIP managed to come back on the second map. But on the third map they still could not finish the game.

The best player after all matches is Timur “FL4MUS” Maryev, who finished the game against Aurora with a great rating of 8.2, which is confident. He had an incredible performance on Nuke, where GamerLegion finished the map with a score of 13-1 and his rating was a sensational 9.9.

The elimination matches will feature Aurora vs. GenOne, Monte vs. NIP, while the top grid finals matchup will feature SAW vs. GamerLegion, Sashi vs. GUN5.
If the teams in the upper grid have a chance in case of defeat, the teams in the upper grid are on the verge of elimination from the important qualification.
