Sashi Reintegrates PR1mE into Starting Lineup Amidst Roster Changes

Sashi has made a strategic move by reactivating Mathias "PR1mE" Carlsen into their starting roster, following a two-month period where he was benched. The 22-year-old's return comes as a replacement for Frederik "Fessor" Sørensen, concluding Fessor's brief trial period with the team.

The Danish esports outfit had initially brought in Fessor at the end of December, along with Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen, as part of their intensified preparations for the PGL Major Copenhagen qualifiers. Despite these efforts and the temporary addition of Johannes "b0RUP" Borup for added firepower, Sashi could not advance beyond the Round of 64 in the open qualifiers.

PR1mE, who joined Sashi back in October and demonstrated his value, made his reentry into the lineup during United21 Season 11, contributing to a 2-1 victory against Illuminar on Friday. This move signals Sashi's intent to recalibrate their team dynamics and strategies moving forward.

There has been no official word from Sashi regarding b0RUP's future with the team, with his contract due to expire soon. Meanwhile, niko remains on loan from 00NATION, a team that has recently exited the esports scene after releasing their entire lineup.

With PR1mE's reinstatement, Sashi's roster now comprises:

  • Mikkel "n1Xen" Borlund
  • Martin "nut nut" Holm Vestergaard
  • Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen
  • Johannes "b0RUP" Borup
  • Mathias "PR1mE" Carlsen
  • Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen (coach)

This lineup adjustment reflects Sashi's ongoing efforts to refine their team composition and performance, aiming for better outcomes in future competitions.
