Recently, legendary Ukrainian player Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev decided to share his thoughts on competitive CS and his future on his official Telegram channel.
Losing part of the team
s1mple admitted that it is difficult for him to talk about some things, in particular, that he is sad to realize that he is not part of his native team NAVI, with which he has been since 2016. Oleksandr emphasized that his motivation has never disappeared, but noted that the team needs more professional egoism to achieve a true “era” of dominance. According to him, the guys need more time, and in his opinion, that's exactly what they have.
First return to LAN
Recently, s1mple took part in a show match, which was his first LAN tournament after a long period of absence. He shared his impressions of the game, noting that it felt completely different, as if “you don't need to use an iron,” hinting at the improvement in his feelings about the game. Oleksandr also noted the positive emotions of his former teammate, probably referring to jL , and wished him further development.
The Navi don't need Simple, Sasha needs the Navi. There are things that are hard to talk about, but the motivation has never disappeared, I am sincerely very happy with the way the guys play, but they sometimes lack professional egoism and it makes me angry, it's not enough for Era, you need more time and they have it, it's a pity to realize that I'm not part of the team, my native team, because I've been with them since 2016. Played on Lan for the first time, even if it was a showmatch - the game feels different, as if you don't need to use an iron, saw Justic's emotions today, know that your aura is getting better and better. Over, you forgive me, but I have my own reasons for treating you like this, yes, there are many places where I am wrong, but you act like I did when I was 18.Now found a relationship, finally feel happy (maybe for a while ahahh), just kiddingI hugged everyone, I hope I come back someday, I'm sick of doing nothing.I'll come back stronger for sure, it's just a matter of time.
