s1mple: "I haven't played CS in over a month."

During a recent stream, Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev said that he hasn't played CS2 for a month and plans to resume streaming. He announced this on his stream of May 10.

I haven't played CS for a month, I just started, now I'm going to stream, try every day

His last game on Faceit was played on March 20, potentially his hiatus could be related to his upcoming eSports school for young players, which is set to open soon, according to a recent interview.

Currently, s1mple is on the bench for NAVI and it is unknown when he will return to the esports scene. The last time he played for NAVI was in CS:GO at the ESL Pro League Season 18, where they lost the grand final to MOUZ and took 2nd place.

His last official match took place on March 6 with Falcons at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2024, where they lost to Metizport in the first match and left the tournament in 9-16th place. This match was the first in 2024 and currently the last.

The focus of s1mple on his new esports school indicates a change in priorities that could affect his future in the game. Everyone is eagerly awaiting his return to the esports scene, but it is unknown when it will happen and if it will happen at all. Although Alexander himself partially underlined his plans by evaluating Faceit players:

There are some online types here. I realized that when I play on LAN, these JOTTAAAs won't have time to shoot.

s1mple on LAN in 2024? We can't wait!
